Art Lives Here is a 25 day campaign, featuring art installations that liven the physical campus in efforts to reframe the university as a home to art. By Kate Bishop, Kaitlyn Ellington, & Mena Fernandez

Challenge
University of Washington is home to a broad spectrum of arts, culture, and design, but the arts lack visibility amongst students on campus. Many students and people outside the campus community feel that the arts scene at UW is not for them, or they simply do not know it exists.
Solution
Art Lives Here begins on October 1st, International Music Day, and October 25th, International Artist Day. We created a set of symbols that reflect the architectural structure of the buildings that are home to arts on UW’s campus. We overlap our symbols as a motif through our brand system to reflect how each building is a part of the larger UW Arts community.
