Behind the Seams is an editorial publication centered on Priscilla Khek, a professional swimwear designer. Through an in-depth interview, I explored her education, career journey, creative process, day-to-day responsibilities, notable projects, and advice for emerging designers. I transformed her story into a magazine that gives readers an inside look at the people, decisions, and experiences behind swimwear design.
Visual Direction
A bold pink, black, and white palette reflects the energy of swimwear, while halftone imagery creates a tactile, printed quality. Oversized serif typography, expressive compositions, and structured editorial grids balance personality with readability, allowing Priscilla’s work and perspective to remain the focus.
