THE PROBLEM
The fashion industry contributes heavily to global waste, yet upcyclers lack a dedicated space to document, share, and discover creative reuse practices. WearAgain addresses this gap by providing a platform for users to showcase transformations, learn from others, and connect, making upcycling more visible and accessible.

THE PROCESS
I began by interviewing upcycling enthusiasts and researching existing platforms to identify gaps in inspiration, documentation, and community features. From these insights, I developed the app’s information architecture and user flows, then iterated through prototyping and user testing. Feedback, around navigation and feature clarity, informed key refinements, such as prioritizing saved inspiration and simplifying interactions to create a more intuitive experience.
THE OUTCOME
WearAgain became a community-driven platform centered on inspiration and connection. User testing led to prioritizing saved content, simplifying navigation, and improving visual clarity. The final design highlights transformations and process breakdowns, making upcycling more engaging and accessible.
